Irish Army leaves Dundalk for Kosovo



















Defence Forces parade in Dundalk

A military parade took place in Dundalk, as part of a ministerial inspection of troops who are being deployed to Kosovo. Members of the 38th Infantry Group will serve as part of K-FOR the multi-national policing force operating there since 1999. They will leave for their tour of duty and will provide support for 81 villages in the Irish controlled area of operations.
